RestoreHER Empowerment Network & Community Outreach Inc. was established by Dr. Chemeka Turner-Williams, a resilient leader whose personal journey through trauma, abuse, single motherhood, and instability became the foundation for a greater mission. Having experienced firsthand the emotional, spiritual, and societal barriers that many women face, Dr. Turner-Williams recognized the urgent need for a safe, empowering space where women could access trauma-informed care, heal, rebuild, and rise into purpose. What began as a personal calling has evolved into a movement—restoring dignity, faith, and opportunity to women everywhere. RestoreHER was created to ensure that women, regardless of their past or location, have access to restorative resources and a path to rebuild their lives. What started with one woman’s story has now become a national voice of advocacy, healing, and women empowerment. RestoreHER exists so that no woman walks alone, and every woman has the opportunity to rise, thrive, and lead with impact.

At RestoreHER Empowerment Network & Community Outreach Inc., our approach is deeply rooted in compassion, purpose, and results. We focus on women empowerment, anchoring our work in spiritual principles that foster hope and healing. Our doors remain open to everyone, regardless of background or belief. Our entire framework is based on trauma-informed care, ensuring that every program, conversation, and intervention is handled with empathy and sensitivity, recognizing the complex realities our clients face. We are family-centered, understanding that true community transformation starts at home, so we work to strengthen not only the individual but the family unit as a whole. Lastly, we are equity-driven, committed to uplifting the underserved by dismantling barriers and creating pathways to opportunity, restoration, and long-term success.
At RestoreHER Empowerment Network, we began with a calling—to serve, uplift, and restore women impacted by trauma, injustice, and crisis. With over 15 years of combined experience in community outreach, advocacy, and trauma-informed care, we’ve become a trusted anchor of hope, healing, and women empowerment for the women and families we are called to serve.
We believe that healing is a right—not a privilege. Our vision is bold but clear: to build a world where no woman is left behind because of her past. Through community outreach and trauma-informed care, we aim to support women who have experienced trauma, incarceration, abuse, or poverty. Every woman deserves access to safety, opportunity, and purpose. When she rises—families are restored, communities are transformed, and generations are empowered.
Our vision is rooted in hope: through community outreach, we aim for women healed, girls empowered, and generations impacted by trauma-informed care, support, and leadership development. We’re not just rebuilding lives—we’re shaping legacies.
Healing begins in safe spaces. At RestoreHER, we engage in community outreach by providing trauma-informed care that meets HER where she is—empowering women to rise into who they were created to be.
At RestoreHER, our mission extends beyond traditional programs—it’s deeply personal. We engage in community outreach to walk alongside women as they heal from trauma through trauma-informed care, reclaim their identity, and rebuild their lives. Every service we offer is designed to restore dignity, unlock purpose, and create lasting impact—for HER, her family, and generations to come, fostering a strong foundation for women empowerment.
At RestoreHER, every number represents a name, every outcome reflects a journey, and every success is a testimony of what happens when trauma-informed care intersects with community outreach and women empowerment. Our impact goes beyond mere data—it’s the proof that restoration is not only possible, but unstoppable.
Dr. Chemeka Turner-Williams leads RestoreHER with bold faith, deep empathy, and lived experience that mirrors the very women she serves. Her leadership is not driven by theory; it is birthed from survival, healing, and a relentless commitment to see others restored through community outreach and trauma-informed care. Through her work, she has created a movement that transcends traditional programs and services—it fosters safe spaces for women to rediscover their voice, rebuild their lives, and rise as empowered leaders in their families and communities. She is not just the founder of RestoreHER; she is its heartbeat.
As a 10x published author of Surviving in Silence: Overcoming Domestic Violence, Dr. Chemeka Turner-Williams shares her personal story of pain, survival, and transformation. Her transparency has become a lifeline for women still trapped in cycles of fear, shame, and silence. Through her voice, women find language for their pain—and hope for their future. The book serves not just as a testimony, but as a vital tool of empowerment used in RestoreHER’s community outreach, trauma-informed care initiatives, and domestic violence awareness efforts. This is more than a story—it’s a statement that HER voice matters, and HER healing is possible.
As the visionary author of the compilation Surviving in Silence: Overcoming Domestic Violence, Dr. Chemeka Turner-Williams created space for voices that had long been silenced. The book weaves together stories of survival and healing, including her own, to break generational cycles of abuse and shame. It is now used as a healing tool in RestoreHER’s community outreach efforts, domestic violence recovery circles, and mentorship programs—providing trauma-informed care that helps empower women to realize they are not alone, and their voice still matters.
What I once held in—my pain, my fear, my story—became the very chains that kept me bound. Like so many women, I learned to survive by staying silent, thinking that silence meant strength, safety, or protection. But in reality, it isolated me, stole my identity, and kept me hidden in shame.
It wasn’t until I spoke the truth—first to myself, then to others—that healing began. Truth unlocked my voice and exposed the lies, shattering the shame while giving me permission to be seen, heard, and whole. Speaking the truth didn’t just set me free; it empowered other women to do the same. Now, through RestoreHER, I help women find the courage to speak again, dream again, and live again—because their voice matters, and their freedom is on the other side of silence. Our community outreach initiatives focus on trauma-informed care, ensuring that every woman feels supported as she steps into her power.
